Our story

Peas in a Pad is about a young (ish) mother bringing up twins in her home. Kate lives in Manchester with her fiancé Sam and twin daughters Phoebe and Tamsin. The girls were born at 29 weeks old and spent the first two months at Stepping Hill Hospital in Stockport.

The experience resulted in Kate wanting to write a blog as there was nothing but negative news about premature babies on the internet. For the full story take a look at the first blog here – Twins born at 29 weeks

  1. Your daughters are adorable! My twins, who are now six, arrived at 26 weeks. They were in the NICU for 78 days. Thankfully, you’d never know that they were preemies.
