I say ‘the twins’ but really it ended up being just Phoebe as Tamsin was teething and literally wouldn’t let go of my legs.
It was for a lovely sheepskin company called Baa Baby, which does a range of gorgeous sheepskins and accessories for babies and toddlers.
I am a huge fan of sheepskin, it really helped the girls sleep at night when they were babies (I put a sheepskin layer in their moses baskets). I also have sheepskin footmuffs for the pram and sheepskin in their car seats. The twins seem to really like it.
One thing I have learnt since being a sheepskin fan is that it also keeps your baby cool in the summer, so it isn’t just a winter accessory. The twins also love their sheepskin slippers, they are not that expensive and keeps their feet snug. They are particularly good if your baby is always pulling their socks off as there is elastic on the inside to keep the slippers on.
Anyway, enough of my obsession with sheepskin! What did shock me with this modelling shoot was how much Phoebe acted up to the camera. Her Aunty Nikki is a professional photographer (Nikki Downes Photography) and Phoebe did exactly what she was told.
She loved the attention and smiled when she was asked to as well as looking at the camera at the right time. A total natural to the point I couldn’t stop laughing and had to hide behind Tamsin. She was tilting her head to pose and that was her own input! Check out the pics below – the last one is an outtake of her funny grin (she gets that from her dad!).
