Keeping the twins occupied

The twins are now 19 months and it is becoming harder to keep them occupied. By 10am every morning I need to be doing some sort of activity with them otherwise they start kicking off.

This is probably due to the girls dropping their morning nap so I now plan my days with activites. This can range from walking to Bramhall Park, taking them to their Rhythm Time class in Bramhall and playing in the back garden.

The weather has now started to improve so the back garden is becoming a regular option. The garden isn’t child proof yet as it has a big drop at the bottom where our drive is. To avoid a nasty accident we will put trellis up along the wall, another DIY job for my partner Sam that he will be delighted with!

This week the girls played on the drive at the bottom of the garden. I had to keep a close eye on them as they were determined to put stones in their mouth. They also liked having a little snack on some soil and I had to move the bread for the birds as Tamsin wanted to eat it.

Phoebe particularly liked me dragging her round on a sledge. There was no snow of course but they still enjoyed the new experience!
